The robust, non-combustible construction and the aluminum cross-counterflow heat exchanger ensure durability and high efficiency. The air handling unit is intended for spaces up to 320 m² and comes standard with a touchscreen controller and a pre-heater. Additionally, it can be expanded with the Sinum unit, allowing you to control both your air handling unit and the entire home from a single wall-mounted panel or via a mobile app.

WANAS air handling units equipped with a high-efficiency aluminum heat exchanger are designed for those seeking an effective and durable mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery. The cross-counterflow design allows for optimal utilization of thermal energy, which translates into a reduced need for additional heating of the supply air.

The unit comes with the modern Display V2 wall-mounted touchscreen controller. The 5.0-inch panel, made of elegant glass, stands out for its intuitive operation and perfectly complements any interior style, combining functionality with aesthetic design.
Intelligent Airflow Management
The air handling unit is equipped with a BYPASS system that manages airflow, enabling efficient cooling of rooms during the summer by bypassing the heat recovery process. This allows the system to direct cooler outdoor air directly into the building, helping to naturally lower indoor temperatures during cool nights or less hot days, without the need for air conditioning.
The automatic bypass operates maintenance-free – the system independently evaluates weather conditions and adjusts its mode of operation to ensure user comfort while minimizing energy consumption.
Thanks to integration with the WANAS CLOUD app, users can configure the bypass, activate or deactivate the function at any time, monitor supply and exhaust air temperatures, and adjust system parameters according to individual preferences.
Smart Heating
The WANAS Classic 550 V 3 air handling unit is equipped with an intelligent modulating heater that automatically adjusts its heating power to the current operating conditions of the ventilation system. With dynamic regulation, the unit ensures an optimal supply air temperature, minimizing energy consumption and eliminating the risk of overheating or overcooling indoor spaces.
Modbus RTU
MODBUS RTU is a reliable serial communication protocol that enables data exchange between the air handling unit and external control systems. Its implementation allows for precise, automated, and remote ventilation management, eliminating the need for manual configuration.

The maxiControl sensor is a modern, wireless device for measuring humidity and temperature within a room. Battery power eliminates the need for electrical wiring, and its compact size and classic design allow maxiControl to discreetly blend into any interior.
