The WANAS Classic 250 H heat recovery unit is a compact ventilation unit with horizontal spigots, designed for single-family homes, offices, commercial and service facilities. It features very low energy consumption, quiet operation, high thermal efficiency, and ease of use. Its robust, non-flammable construction and plastic heat exchanger ensure durability and high efficiency. The unit is designed for ventilation of rooms up to 115 m². It comes standard with a touchscreen controller and preheater. Additionally, the unit can be expanded with an internet module and controlled from anywhere in the world.
High-efficiency exchanger
WANAS 250 H heat recovery units, equipped with a high-efficiency plastic heat exchanger, are a solution designed for those seeking effective and durable mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. The cross-flow/counterflow design allows for optimal utilization of thermal energy, reducing the need for reheating supply air. The heat exchanger in the unit is vertically positioned, allowing for gravity drainage of condensate to a drain pan. This guarantees high thermal efficiency throughout the entire operating period and eliminates the need for “blowing the exchanger” to remove water, unlike horizontal installations.
Modern controls
As standard, every WANAS ventilator is equipped with a modern, touchscreen Display V2 wall controller. This elegant panel features a 5-inch glass display, combining intuitive operation with an aesthetic design that complements any interior. The controller has built-in radio communication, allowing you to easily connect additional accessories, such as the MaxiControl humidity sensor. This gives you complete control over the air quality in your home. Display V2 allows you to manage multiple system components, from the ground heat exchanger (GHE), through the humidifier and cooler, to the water or freon heater. Combined with the ventilator’s motherboard, it creates the most advanced control system in its class – and it’s included as standard. And if you want to expand your ventilation system with additional features in the future, the Display V2 controller will handle them without the need to purchase additional modules. You also have the option of free software updates. This solution grows with your needs.
Intelligent BYPASS in the recuperator
The ventilation unit is equipped with a bypass that manages airflow, allowing rooms to be cooled in the summer by bypassing the heat recovery process. This allows the system to direct cooler outside air directly into the building, naturally lowering room temperatures on cool nights or less hot days. The automatic bypass is maintenance-free – the system independently assesses weather conditions and adjusts its operating mode to ensure user comfort and minimize energy consumption.
SMART HEATER
The WANAS 250 H heat recovery unit is equipped with a Smart Heater, which automatically adjusts heating power to current operating conditions, such as outside temperature and airflow. Intelligent regulation ensures effective heat exchanger protection. The 500W heater reaches maximum power consumption only in extremely unfavorable outdoor conditions, operating at a much lower output most of the time.
Modbus RTU
MODBUS RTU is a reliable, universal serial communication protocol that enables data exchange between the heat recovery unit and external control systems. Its use allows for integration of our device with any intelligent external building management systems, such as Sinum, Lexon, Grenton, etc. We can control the heat recovery unit’s operation from an external system.

Enthalpy exchanger
The WANAS Classic 250 H heat recovery unit can be equipped with an enthalpy exchanger, which, in addition to heat recovery, also recovers moisture from exhaust air. This allows the ventilation system to not only minimize energy losses but also prevent excessive room dryness, which is particularly important during the heating season. The polymer membrane used in the exchanger allows for the transfer of moisture between air streams while preventing the transfer of gases, odors, and pollutants. The exchanger recovers latent heat (related to humidity) and sensible heat (related to temperature). Control your device wherever you are
The WANAS Mobile Control W-25 Wi-Fi internet module enables remote control of WANAS ventilators using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. It allows for ongoing management of the ventilator’s operation – changing operating modes, adjusting ventilation intensity, and setting operating schedules. These modules allow you to view the device’s operating history and receive notifications, such as filter replacement, via email.
Zoned ventilation – comfort where you need it
V2-controlled heat recovery units are equipped with a zone ventilation management system as standard. Zone ventilation adjusts the intensity of operation to current user needs, ensuring comfort and energy savings. The system allows the building to be divided into day and night zones, ensuring ventilation operates only where needed. Automatic airflow regulation (using RCO2Control sensors), the ability to operate at lower unit speeds, and time schedules significantly reduce energy consumption and heat loss. Additional benefits include quiet operation and reduced air dryness during the heating season.
