Advanced control functions and ease of use

WANAS BLACK 200 V XF heat recovery units are modern and compact air handling units that combine advanced design with high functionality. They are made from durable expanded polypropylene (EPP), which provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. Thanks to their lightweight construction and double-sided casing, installation is quick and straightforward. These heat recovery units are designed for rooms with an area of up to 90 m². The units are equipped with a DISPLAY V2 touchscreen control panel and a built-in Wi-Fi module, enabling full remote control via the WANAS START and WANAS CLOUD apps, making them the ideal choice for modern detached houses.

The air is always under control

The XF system ensures precise balancing of air flows within the ventilation system. It monitors and automatically adjusts the operation of supply and extract fans in real time to maintain a balance of air flows within the system. There are as many as four measurement points installed on the fan, which guarantees a very precise measurement of air flow. Our system stands out from the competition thanks to its ability to display air flow in m³/h in real time.

The heat exchanger with the highest efficiency

WANAS heat recovery units, fitted with a high-efficiency plastic heat exchanger, are designed for those seeking effective and durable mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. The cross-counterflow design allows for optimal utilisation of thermal energy, which results in a reduced need to reheat the supply air. The heat exchanger in the unit is positioned vertically, allowing condensate to drain by gravity into a drip tray. This ensures high thermal efficiency throughout the entire operating period and eliminates the need for so-called ‘exchanger purging’ to remove water from it, as is the case with horizontal installations.

Lightweight construction made from EPP material

The use of expanded polypropylene (EPP) in the construction of the heat recovery unit significantly reduces the unit’s weight, whilst offering excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. It is waterproof, lightweight and environmentally friendly, as it is fully recyclable. As a result, the heat recovery unit operates more quietly, provides effective thermal insulation, is resistant to mechanical damage and is environmentally friendly.

Versatile double-sided design

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, we have created a lightweight, reversible housing that fits perfectly into a variety of spaces – from flats to houses and apartments. Its elegant appearance and well-thought-out design allow it to blend seamlessly into any interior, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Automatic BYPASS in the heat recovery unit

The ventilation unit is equipped with a bypass that manages airflow, allowing rooms to be cooled in the summer by bypassing the heat recovery process. This allows the system to direct cooler outside air directly into the building, naturally lowering room temperatures on cool nights or less hot days. The automatic bypass is maintenance-free – the system independently assesses weather conditions and adjusts its operating mode to ensure user comfort and minimize energy consumption.

SMART HEATER

The WANAS BLACK 200 V XF heat recovery unit is equipped with a smart heater that automatically adjusts its heating power to current conditions, such as outside temperature and airflow. This automatic regulation ensures optimal heat exchanger protection. The unit only uses a 500W heater, which is still its power consumption even in extremely unfavorable outdoor conditions. During most operating hours, the power will be much lower.

Modbus RTU

MODBUS RTU is a reliable, universal serial communication protocol that enables data exchange between the heat recovery unit and external control systems. Its use allows for integration of our device with any intelligent external building management systems, such as Sinum, Lexon, Grenton, etc. We can control the heat recovery unit from an external system.

Modern controls

The price includes a modern, touchscreen Display V2 wall controller. The 5.0-inch panel, made of elegant glass, stands out for its intuitive operation and perfectly complements any interior style, combining functionality with aesthetic design. The panel is also equipped with radio communication, allowing you to connect a MaxiControl or RCO2 Control humidity sensor. From the controller panel, you can control, among other things, the ground heat exchanger (GWC), humidifier, cooler, water heater, or freon heater. Combined with the heat recovery unit’s motherboard, the Display V2 is the most feature-rich controller on the market and is included as standard with the heat recovery unit.

Control your device wherever you are

The WANAS Mobile Control W 25 Wi-Fi internet module is a solution that enables remote control of WANAS ventilators using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. These modules allow for ongoing management of the ventilator’s operation – changing operating modes, adjusting ventilation intensity, and setting operating schedules. These modules allow you to view the device’s operating history and receive notifications, such as filter replacement, via email.

Enthalpy exchanger

The WANAS BLACK 200 V XF heat recovery unit can be equipped with an enthalpy exchanger, which, in addition to heat recovery, also recovers moisture from exhaust air. This allows the ventilation system to not only minimize energy losses but also prevent excessive room dryness, which is particularly important during the heating season. The polymer membrane used in the exchanger allows for the transfer of moisture between air streams while preventing the transfer of gases, odors, and pollutants. The exchanger recovers latent heat (related to humidity) and sensible heat (related to temperature). Choosing an enthalpy exchanger is the ideal solution for those who value comfort and healthy air but lack space for a humidifier.
