Advanced control functions and ease of use
WANAS BLACK heat recovery units are modern and compact ventilation units that combine advanced design with high functionality. They are made from durable expanded polypropylene (EPP), which ensures excellent insulation and acoustic properties. Thanks to their lightweight construction and double-sided casing, installation is quick and simple. These heat recovery units are designed for rooms with a floor area of up to 90 m². The WANAS Black 200 V unit is equipped with a DISPLAY V3 touchscreen control panel and a built-in Wi-Fi module, enabling full remote control via the WANAS START and WANAS CLOUD apps, making it the ideal choice for modern detached houses.
High-efficiency heat exchanger
The WANAS 200 V heat recovery units, fitted with a high-efficiency plastic heat exchanger, are designed for those seeking effective and durable mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. The cross-counterflow design allows for optimal utilisation of thermal energy, which results in a reduced need to reheat the supply air. The heat exchanger in the unit is positioned vertically, enabling condensate to drain by gravity into a drip tray. This ensures high thermal efficiency throughout the entire operating period and eliminates the need for so-called ‘exchanger purging’ to remove water from it, as is the case with horizontal installations.
Lightweight construction made from EPP material
The heat recovery unit’s casing, made from expanded polypropylene (EPP), ensures the unit is lightweight and offers excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. This waterproof and fully recyclable material results in quiet operation, high durability, effective thermal insulation and the unit’s environmentally friendly nature.
Versatile double-sided design
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, we have created a lightweight, reversible housing that fits perfectly into a variety of spaces – from flats to houses and apartments. Its elegant appearance and well-thought-out design allow it to blend seamlessly into any interior, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
Automatic BYPASS in the heat recovery unit
The air handling unit is fitted with a BYPASS system that manages air flow, enabling rooms to be cooled during the summer by bypassing the heat recovery process. This allows the system to direct cooler air from outside directly into the building, with the aim of naturally lowering room temperatures on cool nights or less hot days. The automatic bypass operates maintenance-free – the system independently assesses weather conditions and adjusts its operating mode to ensure user comfort and minimise energy consumption.
SMART HEATER
The WANAS BLACK 200 V heat recovery unit is fitted with a Smart Heater, which automatically adjusts the heating power to current operating conditions, such as the outside temperature and air flow. This intelligent control ensures effective protection of the heat exchanger. The 500 W heater used only reaches its maximum power consumption in extremely adverse outdoor conditions, whilst operating at a much lower power for most of the time.
Modbus RTU
MODBUS RTU is a reliable, highly versatile serial communication protocol that enables data exchange between the heat recovery unit and external control systems. Its use allows our unit to be integrated with any external smart building management systems, such as Sinum, Lexon, Grenton, etc. We can control the operation of the heat recovery unit from an external system.
Modern control systems
The price of the unit includes the Display V3 wall-mounted controller. The panel provides access to the unit’s key functions, whilst other settings can be configured via the internet or Bluetooth. Software updates can be carried out automatically via the internet using a mobile phone. If multiple units are installed in a single premises, basic functions can be made available to the user, whilst advanced functions can be reserved for the premises manager or installer.
Control your device wherever you are
The V3 wall panel has a built-in Wi-Fi module, allowing you to access the device from anywhere in the world. You can easily set, for example, a weekly programme, the bypass function or party mode, and check the device’s operating history. By installing the V3 panel, the manufacturer provides remote support and assistance with setting up the device.
Expandability – tailored to your needs
Enthalpy exchanger
The WANAS BLACK heat recovery unit can be fitted with an enthalpy exchanger, which, in addition to heat recovery, also recovers moisture from the extract air. As a result, the ventilation system not only minimises energy losses but also prevents rooms from becoming excessively dry, which is particularly important during the heating season. The polymer membrane used in the exchanger allows moisture to be transferred between air streams whilst preventing the transfer of gases, odours and pollutants. The exchanger ensures the recovery of latent heat (associated with moisture) and sensible heat (associated with temperature). Choosing an enthalpy heat exchanger is the ideal solution for those who value comfort and healthy air but do not have space to install a humidifier.
