Advanced control functions and user comfort

WANAS BLACK 300 V XF heat recovery units are modern and compact ventilation units that combine advanced design with high functionality. They are made of durable expanded polypropylene (EPP), providing excellent insulation and acoustic properties. Their lightweight construction and double-sided housing make installation quick and easy. These units are suitable for rooms up to 115 m². The unit is equipped with a DISPLAY V2 touchscreen control panel and a built-in Wi-Fi module, enabling full remote control via the WANAS START and WANAS CLOUD apps, making them an ideal choice for modern single-family homes.

High-efficiency exchanger

WANAS 300 V XF heat recovery units, equipped with a high-efficiency plastic heat exchanger, are a solution designed for those seeking effective and durable mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. The cross-flow/counterflow design allows for optimal use of thermal energy, reducing the need for reheating supply air. The heat exchanger in the unit is vertically positioned, allowing for gravity drainage of condensate to a drain pan. This ensures high thermal efficiency throughout the entire operating period and eliminates the need for “blowing the exchanger” to remove water, as is the case with horizontal installations.

 

Lightweight construction made of EPP material

The heat recovery unit’s housing, made of expanded polypropylene (EPP), guarantees low weight and excellent insulating and acoustic properties. This waterproof and fully recyclable material ensures quiet operation, high durability, effective thermal insulation, and an eco-friendly design.

Universal double-sided design

Thanks to modern technological solutions, we’ve created a lightweight, double-sided enclosure that adapts perfectly to a variety of spaces – from apartments to houses and condos. Its elegant appearance and well-thought-out design allow for easy integration into any interior, ensuring aesthetics and functionality.

Automatic BYPASS in the recuperator

The ventilation unit is equipped with a bypass that manages airflow, allowing rooms to be cooled in the summer by bypassing the heat recovery process. This allows the system to direct cooler outside air directly into the building, naturally lowering room temperatures on cool nights or less hot days. The automatic bypass is maintenance-free – the system independently assesses weather conditions and adjusts its operating mode to ensure user comfort and minimize energy consumption.

SMART HEATER

The WANAS BLACK 300 V XF heat recovery unit is equipped with a Smart Heater, which automatically adjusts heating power to current operating conditions, such as outside temperature and airflow. Intelligent regulation ensures effective heat exchanger protection. The 500W heater reaches maximum power consumption only in extremely unfavorable outdoor conditions, operating at a much lower power output most of the time.

The air is always under control

The XF system ensures precise airflow balancing in the ventilation system. It monitors and automatically adjusts the operation of supply and exhaust fans in real time to maintain airflow balance within the system. Four measurement points are installed on the fan, ensuring highly accurate airflow measurement. Our system stands out from the competition by displaying airflow in m³/h in real time.

Modbus RTU

MODBUS RTU is a reliable, universal serial communication protocol that enables data exchange between the heat recovery unit and external control systems. Its use allows for integration of our device with any intelligent external building management systems, such as Sinum, Lexon, Grenton, etc. We can control the heat recovery unit from an external system.

Modern controls

As standard, every WANAS 300 V XF ventilator is equipped with a modern, touchscreen Display V2 wall controller. This elegant panel features a 5-inch glass display, combining intuitive operation with an aesthetic design that complements any interior. The controller has built-in radio communication, allowing you to easily connect additional accessories, such as the MaxiControl humidity sensor or the RCO2Control sensor. This gives you complete control over the air quality in your home. The Display V2 allows you to manage multiple system components, from the ground heat exchanger (GHE), through the humidifier and cooler, to the water or freon heater. Combined with the ventilator’s motherboard, it creates the most advanced control system in its class – and it’s included as standard. And if you want to expand your ventilation system with additional features in the future, the Display V2 controller will handle them without the need to purchase additional modules. You also have the option of free software updates. This solution grows with your needs.

Expandable – adaptable to your needs

 

Control your device wherever you are

The WANAS Mobile Control W-19 Wi-Fi and W-25 internet modules enable remote control of WANAS ventilators using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. They allow for ongoing management of the ventilator’s operation – changing operating modes, adjusting ventilation intensity, and setting operating schedules. These modules allow you to view the device’s operating history and receive notifications via email, such as when filters need to be replaced.

Enthalpy exchanger

The WANAS BLACK 300 V XF heat recovery unit can be equipped with an enthalpy exchanger, which, in addition to heat recovery, also recovers moisture from exhaust air. This allows the ventilation system to not only minimize energy losses but also prevent excessive room dryness, which is particularly important during the heating season. The polymer membrane used in the exchanger allows for the transfer of moisture between air streams while preventing the transfer of gases, odors, and pollutants. The exchanger recovers latent heat (related to humidity) and sensible heat (related to temperature). Choosing an enthalpy exchanger is the ideal solution for those who value comfort and healthy air but lack space for a humidifier.
