This model is intended for spaces up to 320 m². It comes standard with a touchscreen weekly controller and can be optionally upgraded with WANAS MOBILE CONTROL modules, enabling remote control via the Internet. Thanks to MODBUS RTU protocol support, the air handling unit integrates seamlessly with smart home systems, ensuring convenience and user comfort.
High-Efficiency Heat Exchanger
WANAS air handling units equipped with a high-efficiency aluminum heat exchanger are designed for those seeking reliable and energy-efficient mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. The cross-counterflow design allows for optimal use of thermal energy, resulting in reduced demand for additional heating of the supply air.
Air Always Under Control
The WANAS Classic 545 XF air handling unit features the XF System, which ensures precise air flow balancing within the ventilation system. This system continuously monitors and automatically adjusts the operation of the supply and exhaust fans in real time to maintain balanced airflow throughout the installation.
Its operation is fully automated, allowing it to adapt to changes in system resistance, such as filter clogging or adjustments to system settings.

The unit comes equipped with the modern Display V2 wall-mounted touchscreen controller. Featuring a 5.0-inch screen made of elegant glass, the panel offers intuitive operation and blends seamlessly with any interior style, combining functionality with sleek, aesthetic design.
Intelligent Airflow Management
The air handling unit is equipped with a BYPASS system that manages airflow to enable efficient cooling during the summer months by bypassing the heat recovery process. This allows cooler outdoor air to be directed straight into the building, helping to naturally lower indoor temperatures during cool nights or milder days—without the need for air conditioning.
The automatic bypass operates independently, continuously analyzing weather conditions and adjusting its mode of operation to ensure user comfort while minimizing energy consumption.
Thanks to integration with the WANAS CLOUD app, users can activate or deactivate the bypass function at any time, monitor supply and exhaust air temperatures, and adjust system settings according to their individual preferences.
Smart Heating
The WANAS Classic 545 XF air handling unit is equipped with an intelligent modulating heater that automatically adjusts its heating power to match the current operating conditions of the ventilation system. With dynamic regulation, the unit ensures an optimal supply air temperature while minimizing energy consumption and eliminating the risk of overheating or overcooling indoor spaces.
Modbus RTU
MODBUS RTU is a reliable serial communication protocol that enables data exchange between the air handling unit and external control systems. Its implementation allows for precise, automated, and remote ventilation management, eliminating the need for manual configuration.
