Advanced control functions and user comfort
The WANAS COMBO 830V/H heat recovery unit is a technologically advanced device that combines four key functions – ventilation, humidification, cooling, and heating – offering comprehensive control over the building’s microclimate. The included maxiControl humidity sensor automatically adjusts operating parameters to current conditions, ensuring optimal air quality year-round. The intuitive DISPLAY V2 touchscreen control panel allows for easy operation of all device functions, and the optional WANAS MOBILE CONTROL module allows for remote management of the system via a mobile app. Users gain full control over ventilation, humidity level, supply temperature, and heating, regardless of their location.
Modern controls
As standard, every WANAS ventilator is equipped with a modern, touchscreen Display V2 wall controller. This elegant panel features a 5-inch glass display, combining intuitive operation with an aesthetic design that complements any interior. The controller has built-in radio communication, allowing you to easily connect additional accessories, such as the MaxiControl humidity sensor or the RCO2 Control sensor. This gives you complete control over the air quality in your home. The Display V2 allows you to manage multiple system components, from the ground heat exchanger (GHE), through the humidifier and cooler, to the water or freon heater. Combined with the ventilator’s motherboard, it creates the most advanced control system in its class – and it’s included as standard. And if you want to expand your ventilation system with additional features in the future, the Display V2 controller will handle them without the need to purchase additional modules. You also have the option of free software updates. This solution grows with your needs.
Highest efficiency heat exchanger
The heat exchanger is a key element of any heat recovery ventilation unit; its design and quality determine the true efficiency of the entire system. WANAS heat recovery units are equipped with a modern heat exchanger made of durable, highly efficient material, designed in a cross-counterflow configuration. This design allows for maximum utilization of the thermal energy contained in the exhaust air, significantly reducing the need for additional reheating of the supply air.
The heat exchanger is positioned vertically within the unit, allowing natural, gravity-based condensate drainage directly into a stainless steel drain pan. This solution eliminates the need for additional features, such as “blowing” the heat exchanger to remove water – a common feature in horizontally oriented designs. The absence of additional ventilation translates into lower energy consumption, higher thermal efficiency, and stable, trouble-free operation throughout the unit’s life.
Evaporative humidifier
The WANAS Combo 830 V/H evaporative humidifier in the heat recovery unit is an innovative solution that ensures optimal indoor humidity levels while improving air quality. The evaporative humidifier utilizes the natural process of water evaporation, which is the healthiest and most effective way to humidify the air. Water is distributed on a special evaporative mat through which air flows. During this process, the water evaporates, increasing the air humidity without the risk of over-saturated moisture.
The air is always under control
The XF system ensures precise airflow balancing in the ventilation system. It monitors and automatically adjusts the operation of supply and exhaust fans in real time to maintain airflow balance within the system. Four measurement points are installed on the fan, ensuring highly accurate airflow measurement. Our system stands out from the competition by displaying airflow in m³/h in real time.
BYPASS
Bypass is an advanced feature in ventilation systems that allows the heat exchanger to be bypassed under certain conditions. This solution introduces fresh outside air directly into the room without preheating it in the heat exchanger. This allows for effective cooling of interior spaces in a natural and energy-efficient manner. The bypass function operates fully automatically, using data from temperature and humidity sensors, ensuring maximum comfort without user intervention.
Heat wisely
The intelligent modulating heater is a modern solution in ventilation systems. Its primary purpose is to maintain a stable supply air temperature, even under changing external conditions. This modulation avoids sudden temperature spikes, improving user comfort. Its modulated operation eliminates energy waste by precisely adjusting heating power to current demand.
Modbus RTU
WANAS heat recovery units support Modbus RTU communication – one of the most reliable and universal serial protocols used in building automation.
This enables full integration of the control unit with external building management systems, such as Sinum, Grenton, Loxone, and other smart home solutions. The Modbus RTU protocol enables bidirectional data exchange – both reading the heat recovery unit’s operating parameters and remotely controlling its functions.
This flexible solution allows for, among other things:
– Changing operating modes and fan speeds
– Monitoring temperatures and other parameters in real time
– Integration with home automation sensors and scenarios
WANAS control units can be integrated with a wide range of modern control systems, providing greater control, automation, and comfort in everyday use.
Wireless humidity control
The maxiControl sensor is a modern, wireless device for measuring humidity and temperature in a room. It allows automatic control of the Umecto humidifier and adjustment of the ventilation unit’s operating mode depending on the humidity level. By installing the sensor in the bathroom, we can automatically trigger the unit to run at speed three if the expected humidity level is exceeded, drying the room faster. Thanks to radio communication with the Display V2 controller, the sensor can be installed at any time and in any location without the need for cables. Its compact dimensions and classic design allow the maxiControl to blend discreetly into any interior.
Expandable – adaptable to your needs
Water and freon heaters and coolers
The WANAS COMBO heat recovery unit can be equipped with a water or freon heater/cooler, significantly increasing its heating or cooling capabilities. Water heater/coolers use water as the heating medium, while freon versions operate on a refrigerant basis, providing fast and effective heating or cooling. Integrating these devices ensures high energy efficiency and improves indoor thermal comfort, adapting the system to changing outdoor conditions and ensuring energy savings year-round.
Your home, your rules – Smart home with an internet module
The WANAS Mobile Control W-25 Wi-Fi internet module enables remote control of WANAS ventilators using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. These modules allow for real-time management of the ventilator’s operation, including changing operating modes, adjusting ventilation intensity, and setting operating schedules. Users also have access to key information such as airflow, temperature, humidity, and filter status, making it easier to monitor indoor air quality.
The modules send notifications about filter replacement, system malfunctions, and service needs, improving system reliability.
Aggregate
The WANAS COMBO heat recovery unit can be equipped with a unit that significantly expands its functionality, adding the ability to effectively manage indoor temperature. The unit acts as an additional source of heat or cooling, ensuring optimal temperature control, especially in extreme weather conditions. Integration with the ventilation system allows for quick adaptation to changing conditions, ensuring comfort and energy savings year-round.
Buffer
By adding a buffer to the WANAS COMBO system, energy can be used more efficiently. The buffer stores heat or cold, allowing the system to adapt to changing energy demands. This buffer stabilizes room temperatures, eliminating unwanted thermal fluctuations and optimizing energy consumption, which translates into lower operating costs and improved user comfort.
Patented solution
WANAS COMBO heat recovery units are exceptional devices distinguished by their unique, patented solutions. Innovative ventilation and humidification technologies not only ensure a healthy indoor climate but also minimize energy consumption, translating into operational savings. Thanks to the use of modern materials and advanced design, these devices support eco-friendly operation, ensuring improved air quality and user comfort in every room.
