WANAS 800 V/H XF

This modern 800 m³/h ventilation unit is designed for single-family homes, offices, commercial premises, and retail spaces up to 360 m². The unit features individually adjustable connections – vertically or horizontally – allowing it to perfectly adapt to the installation conditions and user needs. The unit boasts very low energy consumption, quiet operation, and high heat recovery efficiency, ensured by a durable plastic cross-flow heat exchanger. The robust, non-flammable housing guarantees the unit's safety and durability. The unit comes standard with the XF flow balancing system and an intuitive controller for convenient system management. It also offers the option of expanding its functionality with an internet module, allowing for remote ventilation control via an app or browser.

WANAS recuperators are designed with maximum comfort and intuitive operation in mind. The standard Wanas 800 V/H unit is equipped with a modern, touchscreen controller with a built-in radio, enabling wireless operation of intelligent MaxiControl sensors (humidity sensors) and CO₂ sensors, with the ability to read parameters directly on the controller screen. This allows the system to automatically respond to indoor air quality, adjusting ventilation intensity to current conditions. Additionally, the WANAS 800 V/H ventilator can be expanded with an internet module, enabling remote control of the device via a mobile app or web browser. Advanced control features, the ability to integrate with intelligent sensors, and remote operation ensure the WANAS 800 V/H ventilator offers modern, energy-efficient, and convenient ventilation that ensures your comfort and air quality every day.

Highest efficiency heat exchanger

The heat exchanger is a key element of any heat recovery ventilation unit; its design and quality determine the true efficiency of the entire system. WANAS heat recovery units are equipped with a modern heat exchanger made of durable, highly efficient material, designed in a cross-counterflow configuration. This design allows for maximum utilization of the thermal energy contained in the exhaust air, significantly reducing the need for additional reheating of the supply air.

The heat exchanger is positioned vertically within the unit, allowing natural, gravity-based condensate drainage directly to the drain pan. This solution eliminates the need for additional functions, such as “blowing” the heat exchanger to remove water – a common feature in designs with a horizontal heat exchanger. The absence of additional ventilation translates into lower energy consumption, higher thermal efficiency, and stable, trouble-free operation throughout the unit’s lifespan.

The high-efficiency exchanger in WANAS recuperators guarantees not only energy savings, but also durability and operational reliability – even with intensive use.

Modern controls

As standard, every WANAS ventilator is equipped with a modern, touchscreen Display V2 wall controller. This elegant panel features a 5-inch glass display, combining intuitive operation with an aesthetic design that complements any interior. The controller has built-in radio communication, allowing you to easily connect additional accessories, such as the MaxiControl humidity sensor or the RCO2 Control sensor. This gives you complete control over the air quality in your home. The Display V2 allows you to manage multiple system components, from the ground heat exchanger (GHE), through the humidifier and cooler, to the water or freon heater. Combined with the ventilator’s motherboard, it creates the most advanced control system in its class – and it’s included as standard. And if you want to expand your ventilation system with additional features in the future, the Display V2 controller will handle them without the need to purchase additional modules. You also have the option of free software updates. This solution grows with your needs.

The air is always under control

The XF system ensures precise airflow balancing in the ventilation system. It monitors and automatically adjusts the operation of supply and exhaust fans in real time to maintain airflow balance within the system. Four measurement points are installed on the fan, ensuring highly accurate airflow measurement. Our system stands out from the competition by displaying airflow in m³/h in real time.

SMART HEATER

The WANAS Classic 800 V/H heat recovery unit is equipped with a modern Smart Heater, which automatically adjusts its heating power to current conditions – such as outside temperature and airflow.

Thanks to a specially developed algorithm, the heater operates based on the temperature of the air exhausted from the building, not just the outside temperature. This means the unit does not have to turn on every time the temperature drops below freezing, significantly improving energy efficiency and saving electricity – especially compared to traditional competitive systems.

The 2000W modulated heater installed in the unit only activates its full power in extremely unfavorable outside conditions. Most of the time, it operates at a much lower power level, constantly adapting to current needs. This allows the unit not only to provide optimal heat exchanger protection but also to operate economically and safely.

Modbus RTU

WANAS heat recovery units support Modbus RTU communication – one of the most reliable and universal serial protocols used in building automation.

This enables full integration of the control unit with external building management systems, such as Sinum, Grenton, Loxone, and other smart home solutions. The Modbus RTU protocol enables bidirectional data exchange – both reading heat recovery unit operating parameters and remotely controlling its functions.

This flexible solution allows for, among other things:

– Changing operating modes and fan speeds
– Monitoring temperatures and other parameters in real time
– Integration with home automation sensors and scenarios

Wireless humidity control

The maxiControl sensor is a modern, wireless device for measuring humidity and temperature in a room. It allows for automatic humidifier control and adapts the air handling unit’s operating mode depending on the humidity level. Wireless communication with the Display V2 controller ensures stable and precise operation, even over a wide range. Battery operation eliminates the need for a power connection, and its compact dimensions and classic design allow the maxiControl to blend discreetly into any interior.

Control your device wherever you are

The WANAS Mobile Control W-15, WANAS Mobile Control W-19 Wi-Fi, and W-25 internet modules enable remote control of WANAS ventilators using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. These modules allow for ongoing management of the ventilator’s operation, including changing operating modes, adjusting ventilation intensity, and setting operating schedules. These modules allow you to view the device’s operating history and receive email alerts, such as when filters need to be replaced.

Your home, your rules – smart home with the sinum module

Instead of an internet module, you can install a Sinum control unit and control your heat recovery unit and your entire home from a single wall-mounted panel or a smartphone app. The Sinum control unit allows you to create a so-called smart building, allowing you to manage lighting, energy, heating, and ventilation from a single platform. This way, your home will function according to the rules you establish. Of course, you can change them at any time, as the system is so simple that you can do it from your mobile phone.

Zoned ventilation – comfort where you need it

V2-controlled heat recovery units are equipped with a zone ventilation management system as standard. Zone ventilation adjusts the intensity of operation to current user needs, ensuring comfort and energy savings. The system allows the building to be divided into day and night zones, ensuring ventilation operates only where needed. Automatic airflow regulation (using RCO2Control sensors), the ability to operate at lower unit speeds, and time schedules significantly reduce energy consumption and heat loss. Additional benefits include quiet operation and reduced air dryness during the heating season.
