Thanks to its flexible design, 50 mm of thermal insulation, and excellent damping properties, the SONIQFLEX silencer is widely used in ventilation systems. It is ideal for reducing noise generated by fans in air handling units, and its flexible construction facilitates connecting the heat recovery unit to ducts. It features a male connector with a seal on one end and a female connector on the other, both of which are varnished. The silencer’s end is made of a rubber mat, ensuring a tight connection to the heat recovery unit.
The SONIQFLEX silencer features an internal duct made of modern polypropylene nonwoven fabric, permanently protected with a specialized antibacterial coating. Its purpose is to limit the growth of bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms that can occur in a poorly maintained ventilation system. Compared to traditional flexible silencers, SONIQFLEX ensures more hygienic conditions inside the duct, thus providing lasting protection to the silencer material. This translates into a longer silencer lifespan and greater safety of use – both in residential buildings and facilities with increased hygiene requirements.
SONIQFLEX makes a difference you can hear: attenuation has decreased from 60.6 dB to 45 dB, a decrease of 15.6 dB.

Perfect fit
The silencer is designed to fit perfectly to the heat recovery unit, ensuring a tight and stable connection. This precise fit eliminates thermal bridges and the risk of condensation on the metal connector, and ensures a quick and aesthetic connection to the heat recovery unit.
Maximum 30mm extension
SONIQFLEX was designed for a seamless connection to the heat recovery unit. Because the nipple is 30 mm high and the ventilation unit has the same insulation thickness, it doesn’t protrude into the unit. This ensures laminar airflow and quiet operation of the heat recovery unit, as well as an aesthetically pleasing connection between the unit and the silencer.
Great damping efficiency
SONIQFLEX makes a difference you’ll hear: in this example, sound levels dropped from 60.6 dB to 45 dB, a 15.6 dB reduction. The resulting dampening effect will undoubtedly translate into improved comfort in the building.
