The WANAS UMECTO 600 UNI is an advanced device designed to maintain optimal indoor humidity levels. It operates on the basis of the natural, adiabatic process of water evaporation, ensuring that humidification takes place in a safe and health-friendly manner. UNI-type humidifiers are compatible with any heat recovery unit available on the market, as they feature their own controller and a maxiControl humidity sensor, which can be installed anywhere in the building.

Effective moisturising
The WANAS UMECTO 600 UNI is a device designed to humidify supply air. It allows humidity levels of up to 45 per cent to be achieved in winter. It is fitted with a heater which can be activated to speed up and increase the intensity of humidification. The humidifier also captures pollutants from the supply air, which are then discharged into the drainage system along with the water.
The unit is fitted to the supply air duct, downstream of the heat recovery unit. It monitors both the temperature and humidity of the air, and thanks to the wireless MaxiControl sensor (included in the set), it automatically adjusts its operating intensity. The UMECTO 600 UNI’s universal design allows it to be connected to any existing ventilation system and to work with heat recovery units from various manufacturers.
Wireless moisture level monitoring
The maxiControl sensor is a modern, wireless device for measuring humidity and temperature indoors. It enables automatic control of the Umecto humidifier and adjustment of the air handling unit’s operating mode depending on the humidity level. Thanks to its radio communication, the sensor can be installed at any time and in any location without the need for wiring. Its compact size and classic design mean that the maxiControl blends discreetly into any interior.
Evaporative mat
The device uses an efficient evaporative pad to provide a natural and hygienic way of increasing indoor humidity. The evaporative pad is a special cartridge that is saturated with water. When air is passed through it, the water evaporates naturally, which effectively increases the humidity in the room. The most important advantage is that this process is self-regulating – the air absorbs exactly as much moisture as it needs.
